Data privacy

Halleluja takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. For this reason, we have taken measures to ensure that the data protection regulations are observed by us as well as by our external service providers and partners. In the course of the further development of our website and the technologies used, changes to this data protection declaration may also become necessary.

We therefore recommend that you read the data protection declaration again from time to time. The following statement gives you an overview of how halleluja guarantees the protection of your data and what type of data is collected for what purpose.

 Personal data

At some points on the website you will be asked to provide personal data. We store and use the transmitted (personal) data exclusively for the purpose for which it was provided. It will not be passed on to third parties.

You will also be explicitly asked at these points to consent to the storage and forwarding of data. Automatically stored log data will be deleted after a limited period of time.

 Data processing

Every time you visit a website, data is collected and exchanged as required by law. Halleluja automatically collects and stores data that your browser transmits to our server. These are

  • Type and version of your internet browser
  • the operating system used
  • the page accessed
  • the previously visited page (referrer URL)
  • IP address and the requesting provider
  • Date and time of the server enquiry.

Halleluja analyses data solely for statistical purposes in order to measure the demand for its web offers. Halleluja has no way of assigning this data to a specific person. This data is not merged with other data sources. The IP numbers are recorded for the duration of the visit to answer the queries and are not stored beyond the end of the visit. Data recorded when accessing the website will only be transmitted to third parties if we are obliged to do so by law or by court order or if disclosure is necessary for legal or criminal prosecution in the event of attacks on Halleluja's Internet infrastructure. Data will not be passed on in other cases.

As we rely on partner companies for some of our products or sometimes only act as an intermediary, it is necessary to pass on some of your data to third parties. This is the case, for example, when registering a domain or issuing an SSL certificate.

 Cookies

So-called session cookies are used. Session cookies are small units of information that a provider stores in the working memory of the visitor's computer. A randomly generated unique identification number, a so-called session ID, is stored in a session cookie. A cookie also contains information about its origin and the storage period. These cookies cannot store any other data.

Dealing with cookies

Cookies can be controlled with all Internet browsers. Most browsers are set to accept all cookies without asking the user. If you want to use the full functionality of the website, you should set your browser to accept session cookies.

 Social plugins & tools

This website uses various social media services. These are designed in such a way that data is only transmitted after your consent or active actions (sharing links). If you activate the social media services, their data protection provisions must be observed.

Instagram

Our website also uses social plugins from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.

The plugins are labelled with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an "Instagram camera". When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Instagram's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can directly associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Instagram" button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there.

The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts there. If you do not want Instagram to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website.
Further information can be found in Instagram's privacy policy.

FACEBOOK

Our website uses - after the active consent of the visitor - a social plugin of the social network facebook.com. You can find Facebook's current privacy policy here.

You can prevent your IP address from being transmitted by not activating the Facebook box or by deactivating the social plugin once it has been activated.

MAP MATERIAL FROM OPENSTREETMAP/OPENLAYERS

To make it easier for you to find us, we include map material from the OpenStreetMap service, which is provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF) on the basis of the Open Data Commons Open Database Licence (ODbL).

 Data security

We use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser when you visit our website. You can recognise whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in your browser.

We also use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

EMAILS TO HALLELUJA

If you send us an email, this email and your email address will only be used for correspondence with you. In the case of registrations for events, the personal data provided will only be stored for the purpose of processing the registration.

CHECK YOUR DETAILS

You can use any internet browser to see when cookies are set and what they contain. The independent administrative authority GPDP (Garante per la protection dei dati personali) offers detailed information.
